My vision for you

You’re making the projects you dream of. And it feels good on the inside too.

CREATIVE COACH, WRITER & LIFE-LONG DREAMER

Hi, I’m Elin!

I’m your creative coach. Your guide, teacher and friend in the adventure we call creativity. I show you how to make those projects you dream of, in a way that is effective, sustainable and joyful.

Once upon a time, I tried to start writing a novel. The things is, I was riddled by self-doubt, stressed and impatient, and most of all I desperately feared failure. My dream was strong, yet I made frustratingly little progress.

This conundrum was the start of an obsession with understanding the creative process. And what I’ve found is that our outward success in our creative lives are so completely dependent on our inward fulfilment in the process.

I help you create. I help you make that dream a reality. But not just that. I help you build a creative life that not just looks good on the outside, but one that feels good on the inside too.

I believe in…

A joyful, balanced and effective creative process

Build a happy, healthy and effective creative process rooted in balance, joy and fulfilment. Move beyond hustle culture, stress and towards a more natural life.

An authentic and internally driven creative vision

Find your creative voice and vision by looking inside and getting to know your creativity, rather than worrying about what the world expects from you.

A healthy, brave and supportive creative mindset

Strengthen your creative confidence and move beyond procrastination, so you can do the creative projects you dream of and be the creative person you want to be.

A little about me…

I live in Sweden together with my partner Petrus and our cats Alice and Pysen. Our house is in a cute neighbourhood with a forest and lakes just beside, which I love.

Though I feel at home in nature, I enjoying going into the nearby city Stockholm to roam cafés and bookstores.

I have a master’s degree in political science and want us to build better societies, that are more sustainable, balanced and kind.

I’m a nerd. I love to learn new things, I never go anywhere without a book and I thoroughly enjoyed university.

Honesty and transparency are important values of mine, and though I’m a generally optimistic and positive person, I want to share the messy reality. You’ll regularly see me share behind the scenes stories of my unfolding journey.

I see myself as a writer first. I’m hoping to get my first novel published, but regardless, writing is and always will be my happy place.

My story

It began in the summer of 2015. I had graduated from university two years earlier with a degree in political science and a couple of unsuccessful attempts to write a novel. I was sitting in the office of my government job, bored.

In the back of my mind, a question was nagging. Was this it? Was this how life would be from now on? Waking up way too early and going on a long commute, only to be locked in an office all day to work with bureaucracy. I saw so clearly how time could slip by and my dream of writing novels would stay that - a dream.

That day in the office, I listened to a podcast while I worked. It was an interview with Rachel Brathen, Yogagirl, a Swedish woman who moved to Aruba and became a huge Instagrammer and world wide yoga teacher. Her story was inspiring, but there was something she said that hit right me in the heart.

I realised I wanted to create.

After that moment, I started exploring the online world of creativity and creative businesses. I fell in love with the sense of hope and possibility and I wanted to join this world, to become part of it. Put my creativity out into the world.

But like with writing my novel, there was something standing in my way. I had listened too much to all the people who said creativity was only for the chosen few, that only the best get published. I had become terrified of failure, and that fear of failure was becoming a self-fulfilling prophesy. It was keeping me frozen, unable to move forward.

Then I made one of my life’s best choices: I decided to face my creative fears.

In January 2016, I set out on what I called my Fear Year. With a heart beating from both fear and years of unreleased creative energy, I started blogging, started my Instagram account, and finished a draft of my first novel. I won't tell you the whole story, but that’s when creating became a natural part of my life, just like it had when I was a kid.

In the following years, I kept uncovering my own path. I got really nerdy about the creative process, pursued a variety of creative projects, explored slow living and learned more about how I wanted to live, beyond the expectations of society. I sent my finished novel to publishers and got rejection letters, but also some invaluable feedback and new ideas for future drafts.

I started helping creatives with their projects, and in 2020 I started my own creative coaching business. In April 2021 I took the leap and went full-time with my business to see where I could take it. Now I keep growing my business, working on my novel and navigating this messy, beautiful thing we call life.
